Factory-built construction of structures has a lot of pluses. The use of 1/4" Fome-CorŪ Board to further protect the exterior of manufactured homes makes a lot of sense. Fome-Cor Board is produced in up to 8' tall by 470' continously folded weather-barrier sheets. In this application, 1/4" Fome-Cor Board is produced up to 8' tall with an accordion-folded design that allows for a continuous protective wrap around the structure. Whether installing Fome-Cor Board over open studs or over wood-based sheathing, it's wise to protect the structure from air and water leakage that can occur normally through construction seams. Fome-Cor Board reduces water and air leakage, while breathing harmful interior moisture vapor. Keeping water, humidity and air from moving through walls protects the structure from damage and owners from discomfort.
